Anyone can be a BETA tester - you do not need to be an “expert” user to participate! The program is open to customers with current subscription service. Only current Solidworks Enterprise PDM customers with subscription can participate in SolidWorks Enterprise PDM Beta.
There are three Beta releases of SolidWorks 2010 currently scheduled. The tentative schedule is as follows. Dates are subject to change.
- Beta 1 last week of June
- Beta 2 last week of July
- Beta 3 2nd week of August
Beta Program Participants Can:
- Download and install SolidWorks beta software.
- Get beta support and track issues.
- Join the beta forums to discuss features, ask questions and learn about what’s new in SolidWorks software.
- Participate in the Beta Brainstorm, which lets you share, vote, and comment on ideas about the beta program.
SolidWorks 2010 Release Schedule
August 17th: Beginning on this date any NEW order of SolidWorks 2009 without Subscription Service will be entitled to SolidWorks 2010.
Week of August 31st - Pre-Release 1: (PDM follows by 1 week) - Product is no longer under nondisclosure.
Week of October 8th: (PDM follows by 1 week) - SolidWorks 2010 is available to all customers with Subscription Service current through October 31st.
November 11th - 30th: Upgrade shipments of SolidWorks 2010 media. Available to all customers with Subscription Service current through October 31st.
