The ModernTech Utility Suite is a collection of tools/applications designed to provide existing support customers with an enhanced experience for SolidWorks and ModernTech support. The Utility Suite is provided free of charge to all current support customers and is a preferred method for contacting ModernTech Technical Support. Functionality includes (but is not limited to): System Check & Utilities for verification of prerequisite products, graphics card certification and routine system maintenance functionality.  What's New?New Features of this release• Modified the licensing scheme to be more fault tolerant. - Tied all licensing to one Authorization Code ( Free add-in products no longer require a license). - Started initial efforts to move toward Activation Licensing scheme. • Consolidated the SolidWorks interaction library • Modified the method for initializing the Administration mode. • Added quick licensing verbiage on the main window for new users. Bug Fixes of this release • Corrected issues with disc identification in licensing.
1.) Be a current ModernTech Subscription Customer.
If you are a current SolidWorks Subscription customer, the advanced tools are free to you until the end of subscription service date. You may obtain these free advanced tools within the ModernTech Utility Suite license by entering in your SolidWorks serial number in the respective utility suite area. Once you enter your serial number, you will receive a confirmation e-mail which will include a license confirmation. -OR- 2.) You must purchase a license.
To purchase a license, click on the "purchase a ModernTech Utility License" link within the free utility suite. You will be redirected to ModernTech's online store, www.buy3DCADNow.com, where you may purchase the license for $49.95. |
