DESCRIPTION:
ModernTech, a SolidWorks reseller, has been providing 3D Engineering Solutions to discrete manufacturing companies in the Southeast since 1996. We have a great opportunity for a motivated team player who desires to work with leading-edge design technology, has a passion for success, and enjoys working with people. The ISR is often the first associate to talk with customers and potential customers over the phone.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include being responsible for the initial stages of the sales cycle including: gathering customer information and requirements, passing opportunities to the field, and following up with customers.

• Partnering with their Account Managers, Marketing Manager, and Application Engineers to increase sales and awareness of ModernTech products in their region
• Promoting product through aggressive telephone canvassing
• Handling customer service issues
• Outbound calling on corporate and regional programs in their sales region
• Maintaining an accurate sales database
• Processing orders
• Giving simple product demonstrations over the web and telephone
• Performing other duties and responsibilities including handling inbound calls as necessary

 
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND ATTRIBUTES:
The ideal candidate will have the following background:

• Minimum 3 years experience in telemarketing or customer service experience (preferably high tech products)
• BS Degree in Business, Technology or equivalent experience required
• Excellent phone and computer skills
• Consistent track record of achievement
• Experience with contact management software such as Microsoft CRM
• Proven ability to develop good product knowledge to properly position the product
• Knowledge of the MCAD industry is highly desirable
• Ability to function in a team atmosphere, appreciate aggressive goals, and have superior organizational/time management skills
• Make-it-happen attitude is desirable

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Salary plus commission and bonuses, commensurate with experience/performance. Benefits include medical, dental, 401(k), and vacation.
